Nile Sovereign is a four star luxury-liner built according to the specifications given by Germanischer Lloyd. The ship measures 62 m in length, 11 m in breadth and 1.05 m in draft. The engine power and generator produces 4X250 horsepower while there is one more generator by Caterpillar as a reserve. The ship also has the facility of a radar and short wave.
Nile Sovereign features 30 passenger cabins including 28 double and 2 single cabins. Each cabin presents a panoramic view of the river Nile and is equipped with sleek furniture, individually controlled air-conditioning, color television with satellite channels, music system, closed circuit video, international direct dial telephone and mini bar/fridge. The attached private bathroom features hairdryer, shower, bidet and western closets.
